 The Dilwara Jain Temples, located in Mount Abu, Rajasthan, are a stunning example of exquisite craftsmanship and spiritual devotion. Built between the 11th and 13th centuries by Chalukya rulers, the Dilwara Temples are dedicated to the Jain Tirthankaras. There are five temples in the complex, each named after the village where it is located or its principal deity: Vimal Vasahi, Luna Vasahi, Pittalhar, Parshvanatha, and Mahavir Swami.

The most prominent temples are Vimal Vasahi and Luna Vasahi. Vimal Vasahi, dedicated to the first Tirthankara, Lord Adinath, was built in 1031 CE and is famous for its intricate marble carvings, ornate ceilings, and intricately designed corridors. Luna Vasahi, built in 1230 CE, is dedicated to Lord Neminath, the 22nd Tirthankara, and is known for its stunning dome-shaped ceilings adorned with delicate lotus designs and detailed figurines.

The temples are an architectural masterpiece, showcasing the pinnacle of craftsmanship. The white marble used in their construction is carved with such precision that it appears almost translucent. From the finely detailed sculptures of deities and celestial beings to the elaborate ornamentation of pillars, ceilings, and doorways, every inch of these temples is a work of art.
